Since graduating with a Master of Science (Hons) Fiona Turner has immersed herself in the wine industry. Now, with over 20 years winemaking experience in Marlborough ‒ along with vintages in Hawkes Bay, Central Otago and California ‒ Fiona focuses on fine aromatics, balance and integration when making our Tinpot Hut wine. We employ viticulture techniques to achieve moderate yields and excellent varietal flavour. Our winemaking philosophy is to make wines that are a true expression of each and every varietal, and refl ect the unique sites of Tinpot Hut vineyards. We consider the Japan Wine Challenge to be the most well known and respected wine competition in Japan.
